We
love to hear from readers- comments, criticisms, suggestions, things you
want us to write about, areas you think we need to cover better, corrections,
and even a pat on the back from time to time are all encouraged
A reader writes: I am looking now for another toy for my wife - something I have seen in porn movies(!) It's a machine with a rod you can fix a dildo to, and it pumps in and out. I guess you'd call it an autofucker! Any ideas as to where I can find one? Answer: Amazingly enough, yes we do. Spindoll makes Orgasmo. Unfortunately, it is VERY expensive, which is why it is found in adult movies and swing clubs but not as much in people's homes. Much less expensive at around $800 is the Erotochine from Advanced Medical Robotics. For a number of different ideas on how
these machines can be made, check out
A reader writes: Several years ago there was a male masturbation lubricant on the market that beat all of the lubricants for any purpose hands down. The name was "SLIK" in red letters, made by New Concepts, Inc. I bought the last couple of bottles from the Adam & Eve website about 18 months ago and have not been able to find the product since. Do you have any information that might help me find it? Answer: I vaguely remember
Slik, but have not seen it in awhile. We found no listing for the company
in their home base of Corona. I suspect it has been discontinued. It was
a very thin lube that had properties similar to some of the silicone based
lubes. As a substitute, you might try Wet Platinum, Eros, or ID Millennium,
which have similar staying power.
A reader writes: I feel extremely stupid--I'm a 50 year old female who has been having good sex most of my life and have no idea exactly where the G spot is and how to stimulate it--I want great sex!!! Please help me. Answer: There is a a brief
and simple explanation on the G-Spot
page on Erotic Guide. There are also tons of other resources on the
net that go into much more detail. One of the best detailed explanations
is at Dr. Gary Schubach's
site.
A reader writes: Loved your site! I'm looking for a toy my wife absolutely adored until it broke! I guess it's a dildo, but it's a pump up one. You pump it up till its just firm enough, then insert it, and pump it up till she gets fully stretched, then let it deflate a little, then pump it up again. Used to drive my good lady OUT of her MIND! Sadly, the pumping bulb (kind of like a blood pressure meter) stopped working, so we threw it away. Any ideas where we can get a replacement for this toy? Answer: There are both inflatable dildos and butt plugs. The Inflatable Emperor is made by Swedish Erotica (California Exotic Novelties) and starts out at 6" and pumps up to a thicker 8". I don't have the exact measurements on how much thicker it gets. It is a realistic dildo sculpted to look like a penis. This model also has a suction cup on the base. There are also some other models out there,
although we don't carry them. Regulation of London makes a black inflatable
rubber dildo in three sizes. Stormy
Leather has a very nice black inflatable. Inflatables are very popular
with the BDSM crowds, so they are sometimes easier to find in shops that
cater to that clientele.
A reader writes: I have been developing an erotic adult board game and a friend told me about your web site. Now I am feeling discouraged because of the vast number of games already published. Do you think there could be room for more erotic games? Answer: There is always room
for a fresh original game. There is a lot of competition though, and it
is a tough market. To get an idea of what is out there, you should check
out the Adult Game Company,
which seems to have the most extensive selection of games anywhere. If
you can come up with something a little different that is both sexy and
fun to play, then it is possible to enter the market. Marketing it yourself
can be an uphill battle, though.
A reader writes: What are the lubricant brands that do not contain glycerine and nonoxynol-9. I could not determine what the actual ingredients are in the products on the Web sites I have checked out. Thanks Answer: The answer is that most lubes no longer contain nonoxynol-9, as there is general consensus that it does more harm than good. Here is a list of products that do not contain glycerin (and, of course, no N-9): silicone lubes: I-D Millenium, Wet Platinum, Eros Bodyglide non-silicone lubes: Liquid Silk, Slippery
Stuff, Maximus
