Erotic University sponsored this day long celebration of orgasm as part of National Orgasm Month. This was Erotic University's first event of this type, and I had scheduled the first class at 11:30 am, figuring that few people would arrive and since I was presenting it, it was no problem if we just had to cancel it. I thought the morning would be quite slow, giving us a little extra time to put in any last minute touches that we needed to.

My low expectations turned out to be all wrong. People began arriving the moment we opened the doors, and the first class, as were all the others, was packed. 
 

Classes

In the Importance of Orgasms class, I spoke about the scientific research that has shown that there are an amazing number of health benefits to having orgasm. You can read an online version on the Erotic University site. 

Kris and I also did a class on Orgasms With Others, where we talked about having orgasms with more than two people at a time, from threesomes to orgies to sex in front of other people. This class was well attended and there were a lot of really terrific questions from the audience, as well as quite a few knowledge folks in the audience who shared their insights.

I did not see it but heard great things about Dr. Patti Britton's class on sensual massage, a perfect interlude to great orgasms. She is a wonderful and knowledgeable sex expert and I was thrilled that she could be a part of this event. Vendors

In the main nightclub type area we had booths featuring several vendors. The Love Boutique displayed their wares from their couple friendly stores that feature adult products. They have a store in Santa Monica at 2924 Wilshire Blvd as well as one in the Valley at 18637 Ventura Blvd.. 

Passion Play Products is a manufacturer and retailer of a large number of adult/fetish toys, accessories, clothing, books and artwork. 

ilovexor.com An online couple friendly site, the owner will be demonstrating some state of the art toys, including the Audi-Oh! 

D Gear offered a new line of original custom made leather play toys and accessories made for anyone who likes a little something on the wild side. They demonstrated love cuffs, floggers, and collars to name a few. 

Threshold had a booth to help educate people interested in BDSM play, with information on things such as bondage and spanking.
 
Tactile Treasures brought in racks of their unique products. They included sexy furry jackets, furry chap and furry hats. 

Sinulate Entertainment had their product hooked up to the Internet to demonstrate how it can be used to control sex toys remotely. 

Sitting at one of the tall chairs was one of the state of the art realistic love dolls from Superbabe. They are made full sized of very life-like feeling materials.  

Marci Javril brought in books and videos from her Vital Energy Center. She also promoted her upcoming EU class on What They Won't Teach You in Massage School..

Pure Pleasure Lingerie has a store inside Entertanium Studios featuring lingerie and very sexy club wear. It was open throughout the day for people to try on sexy outfits.
 

The Gallery

Attendees also had the opportunity to stroll through the XART Gallery, which features art by contemporary erotic artists. It is a professionally curated gallery, and its exhibitions often go on the road to other galleries, including their sponsor, the Lifestyles Organization where the art is featured at their national conventions for swingers and other sexually open minded people.
 

The Shows
 
The main room was absolutely packed for hypnotist Ken X's attempt to set the world's record for most number of simultaneous female orgasms. He had 8 women on stage, and without any touching and using just his voice, they were to all come at the same time. There was a lot of suspense built up in the audience as you wondered if he would possibly succeed (as well as wondering what it would look like). Ken X has created several self-guiding CD's to help people explore their sexuality, and they can be found on his Mental Pleasure Web site

I had a pretty good idea he would do it. I was with him the week before when he worked with adult star Keri Windsor. She had experienced his technique on her Internet radio show but was skeptical that it could work with the distraction of being in front of a live audience. We were in a Nightclub where it was so loud she could barely hear him and he practically had to shout in her ear. She came so hard that she knocked over a table. She wound up being one of our on stage participants.

Having seen that, I was still not prepared for the site of eight women coming at the same time. They came, and came hard. All of the women were sitting on couches, and one of our helpers had to brace the couch behind one of the girls to keep it from tipping over when she came. One girl even had a squirting orgasm. 

Was it for real? It sure looked like it, and EU co-founder Kris Booth was one of the participants. She verifies that it was the real deal. It really was one of the more amazing things I've seen (which is saying something).

Another one of the participants was the lovely and sexy Raven, a sex expert who writes the newsletter for the Adult Toy Chest  based in Seattle. She flew all the way out for this event, and we were thrilled that she could make it. She was also a skeptic concerning Ken X's amazing ability, but that skepticism melted away once she experienced it. Following Ken X's presentation was Dr. Ava Cadell, who did a world premiere of her new sex toy, the Trigasm. Dr. Ava is an accomplished author of four books on sexuality. She has a doctorate in human behavior from Newport University, CA and a doctorate of education in human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.

Her new device was designed to provide three simultaneous forms of stimulation: vaginal, clitoral, and anal. She explained the various types of orgasm that could be produced, and got Kris up from the audience to help show stimulation techniques on her vulva puppet.

Overall, it was an entertaining and educational day. Big crowds, terrific presenters, and a world's record made the first Pleasure Sunday, like a great orgasm, a very satisfying affair.
