Very pink, 4 ½ inches
long, and about 1 ¾ inches wide, this masturbation sleeve is made
of a soft rubbery material that is very elastic. The back end of the tube
is open, but the front is in the shape of lips with a tiny opening in the
center about the width of a pipe cleaner.
The idea is
to lube yourself up and slip your member into that tiny, very stretchy
hole. You'll need lots of lube and a little perseverance to get yourself
past the lips. As with actual sex, it helps if you are already really hard,
so you'll probably need to start with manual masturbation.
Inside the tube is a textured
ribbed surface, which does feel pleasant. The tiny lip opening also has
a lot of grip, which you will feel on the back strokes. While you can insert
your penis in a little way and stimulate the head of the penis against
the ribbed interior, you can also use it to stimulate the shat while inserting
the penis all the way, so that it protrudes from the other end. You could
then combine it with oral sex.
On the downside, the material
gets very slippery when lube is applied, and I had to make a real effort
to keep a grip on it. It is also made of a material that is extremely sensitive
to contact with other plastics, which causes a chemical reaction that will
damage it. You can only use water based lubes with it.
The version we got came from
the Love Boutique, which has stores in Encino and Santa Monica, California.
They included their own instructions, which is a nice touch. They suggest
trying the "Juicer" (using the tip of the sleeve as you would to juice
an orange) and the "Propeller" (swish or circulate the top around, half
on, and half off the penis).

This is basically an adult
version of UNO, one of the world's most popular family card games. This
version is definitely not family friendly.
The Home Edition comes with
a black satin carrying bag for the two decks of 68 cards. It also comes
with a digital timer to time action segments of the game.
The cards themselves
can be played and interpreted in different ways, thus lending the game
a lot of flexibility to meet the needs of the players in terms of how daring
they want the game to be. The game can be played in teams, individuals,
or just a single couple. It works with any combination of sexual orientations.
It also easily incorporates the sex toys you have on hand, and can be as
mild or as wild as you would like.
Just like with UNO, you play
same color card (blue, green, magenta or orange) on the same color action
cards (Caress, Jump, Lick, Kiss, Oral, Play, Swing, Strip 1, Strip 2 and
Toy) or numeric cards (1 - 5) to determine what action will take
place and for how long. You can interpret the cards in a variety
of ways. For example, the swing card can refer to a sex swing, to actual
swinging as in trading partners, or in changing direction of play. You
decide which set of rules you'll play by before the game begins.
As we determined when we
went out to Aquafinity for our product testing, it does not work so well
outside when it is really windy. For still air or indoors, though, the
game has a lot to offer. In our case, we were in an environment of swingers
who play games with emphasis on the wilder ways of playing. Individual
couples can also use the game to explore fantasies and heat things up a
little. For groups not into open sexuality, it can be played in a much
milder version that can still be sexy without going beyond people's boundaries.
We have found that games
can do a lot to add to one's sex life. They encourage the incorporation
of more variety, encourage new ways of exploring, work great as an nice
breaker, and just put some fun into sexuality which many people can take
way too seriously. Flaunt It! has enough flexibility built in to appeal
to a wide range of players. Fast paced, inexpensive, and easily portable
in the Home Edition, its a great game to take on your next trip- whether
to a swing club or just on that romantic getaway.
Waterproof vibes are quite
fun, and there are lots of different types on the market. This one offers
something a little unique in that it turns on automatically when you put
it in the water. You can also turn it on just by touching the exterior
metal contacts. It offers moderate vibration, is three inches long, and
you could not ask for a vibe that is easier to use.
The way it works
is pretty simple. It has two external contacts, and since water is a decent
conductor, once it is in water the circuit is completed and the little
vibe turns on. It also works by touching the contacts, as the surface of
your skin is a fairly good conductor as well.
It uses four button batteries,
and not only does it come pre-loaded with four, they also give you an additional
set of four (something not clear on the package but a better deal than
you are expecting).
It will turn on and stay
on when inserted vaginally (and has a handy loop to make retrieval easy).
It is a perfect for carrying around the pool or jacuzzi and discreetly
introducing it to a friend. It is relatively quiet and pretty much silent
under water.
This is your inexpensive
basic hard plastic vibe. Hard vibes are a good choice for an intro vibe,
although not everyone likes vibes that are hard.
The softer jelly
vibes tend to be more expensive, though, so a cheap hard vibe (generically
called smoothies) is a good way to see if you like the vibrational sensations
vibes provide.
This has a couple of things
going for it. Instead of the usual rounded end, it has a taper. As you
can see in the picture, the top is relatively straight going to a fairly
narrow point at the very tip, where the bottom curves to the tip more gently.
This gives you some different surfaces to play with, and some people just
prefer the shape over the traditional bullet-like vibe.
It uses two AA batteries,
which are held in place by a locking cap above an easy to grip dial (even
when your fingers are covered in lube) for variable speed. The vibe provides
moderate vibration. If you are interested in trying a basic smoothie type
vibe, this is a good choice.
This is a big fella. Ten
inches long, 1 3/4 inches in width. It is made of what they call Crystallessence
material, which is clear and has a somewhat hard but still pliable rubber
like feel. The entire vibe does flex relatively easily. The shaft is softer
than the very tip, which has a bullet vibe inside, putting most of the
vibration at the tip of the vibe.
In the space
between the black area near the bottom and the bullet near the top, a series
of chasing red and green LEDs light it up. This looks much cooler underwater,
and this vibe is waterproof.
Now, some of you may be intimidated
by the size. True, as an insertable vibe, it may be bigger than many of
you might prefer. However, keep in mind that it is a vibe designed to be
used in the water. You don't necessarily want to use an insertable in the
water. Water tends to dilute vaginal lubrication, and unless you use a
waterproof lube, inserting a vibe underwater may not be completely comfortable.
It can also introduce bacteria into the vagina. So, think of this less
as an insertable and as more of a large area external stimulator. If you
like vibes like the Hitachi Magic Wand, that has a big surface area for
external stimulation, then this may be something you will enjoy as well.
The head has strong variable speed vibration, and it does a good job of
stimulating the vaginal lips and clit.

Here's another waterproof
vibe, but it is much smaller than the others. Its only two inches long,
and uses three of the watch type button batteries (included). It offers
mild vibration, although fairly strong considering its size. Because the
vibration is pretty focused at the tip, it should be more than adequate
for clitoral stimulation.
This was very popular in
our testing. You can easily hide it in your hand and introduce it to a
friend. It is very quiet, and of course, completely silent under water.
Besides clitoral
stimulation, it can be held in the palm of the hand, and that hand wrapped
around a penis, to add a little extra to a hand job. It is not an insertable
vibe. The dial to turn it on is tiny, but we had no problem turning it
even when our hands were wet.
In a soft package about 4
1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide, you get one lubricated latex condom and
two individually wrapped extra absorbent hypoallergenic wipes. The package
easily fits in a purse or pocket. It is clearly designed for the heterosexual
market, although a gay pack with two condoms might be a nice addition..
These flavored condoms are
clearly in the novelty category, but with an important difference. Many
novelty condoms are not FDA approved and are not designed to prevent pregnancy
or the transmission of disease. These are FDA approved.
Each box contains three colored,
scented and flavored condoms. The available flavors are Cherry, Banana,
Tutti Frutti and Grape. We tried the Cherry flavored.
The reports from both of
our testers were that they seemed difficult to put on. Now, neither was
ungenerously endowed, but other condoms have unrolled more easily for both
of them. One felt that the sensation was adequate but the other thought
it was thicker feeling than other condoms he had tried.
From the female side of the
equation, the flavor itself was very light and not over-powering, but enough
to mask the latex taste.
