The basic premise of Erotic Passions is that we spend too much time focused on “frictive sex”. You know, the kind involving lots of enthusiastic rubbing. What we often forget is to slow things down and experience (and share) other types of pleasure and sensation. The book starts out with sensual bathing and sensual ideas for the shower and tub. It then moves on to stimulating with feathers and fur and other materials. There is a great game of touch called Pleasure Mapping, where you discover what parts of your lover’s body are the most sensitive. You learn how to give a facial massage, and massage techniques using your mouth, lips, and tongue. One thing most books on even sensual massage leave out is genital massage. The middle section of the book is dedicated to this topic, with gorgeous illustrations that make it very clear. It also includes information on incorporating G-Spot massage. The last part of the book includes ideas for using vibrators in erotic massage, breast massage, a section on fantasy games, and a few pages of Indian and Japanese style drawings of ancient sexual positions. This would be an excellent
book to give as a gift for Valentine’s Day or other romantic occasions.
It is a quick read and entertainingly written, well illustrated, and with
lots of real life examples and many great suggestions. Don’t just give
the book, though. Include in the deal the offer to try anything in the
book that they would like to do. Trust me- it will be all good.
