She discusses her first exposure to porn and her experiences as both a maker and reviewer of lesbian oriented adult videos. Originally an anti-porn feminist, she describes how her views have changed and how she now embraces porn. Her chapter on working at Good Vibrations illuminated just how desperate so many of us are for even the most basic of information about sexuality. I especially enjoyed the results from her surveys taken at her college lectures, as it very clearly points out both the lack of sex education at the college level and just exactly what sexual topics college students are curious about. She has some great sections on her experiences with the Internet. In a very funny essay, she describes her interactions with the infamous Martin Rimm, whose bogus research on Sex on the Internet was featured in an issue of Time magazine only later to be repudiated. Her section on meeting people via the Internet is also quite entertaining, especially when she gets to the part about having sex with one of the most hated people on the Well, an early Internet discussion site. A breezy easy to read style, lots of interesting stories, and a hip and sex positive perspective make this a very enjoyable book to breeze through on some warm summer afternoon at the beach or a cold dark winter night snuggled under the covers. -JB
