Waterproof Vibrators

Summer is here, and so are the waterproof vibrators. These hot little numbers well help you heat up while you are cooling down in the pool, as they are impervious to water. Well, sort of. In actuality, we have found that the items we have tested do require a little extra care, as they sometimes do leak. When you are finished with them, open them up, take out the batteries, and let them air dry. This practice will keep them humming for a long time.

The leading manufacturer of waterproof vibrators is California Exotic Novelties. No surprise there, since California leads in the number of swimming pools in the nation. They have a number of models that we really like, and here are a few of our favorites.

The Waterproof Delights are made of a clear jelly that provides a soft exterior and very soft tip with a firm interior. The motor provides fairly strong vibration that works well underwater. The blue version is 8 " and has a nice bend in it that we like, while the the white one is straight. One nice feature on both  is the very wide base That vibrates against the vaginal opening when fully inserted.

These very soft little Mini Waterproof Vibes are quite small and unobtrusive. At only 4 1/2", they are easy to slip into a swimsuit pocket and make only a very small bulge (although that may not be the impression you want to give).

One of the most popular vibrators of all time is the Pocket Rocket. We were quite excited to find that there is a variation that is waterproof, and this always winds up getting packed when we go away on a trip. We were at a party house with a large indoor pool and we brought this along and almost didn't get it back. It is called the Mega Mite, and while it is admittedly not quite as well made, durable, or reliable as the original, and the switch is a little fussy (you have to make sure you put the two halves together just the right way after inserting the battery and not rotate it too far), it can go where no Pocket Rocket could go before.

Another extremely popular vibrator is the Rabbit Pearl. This underwater version is smaller and lacks the rotating pearl part of the original, but it still has those wonderful vibrating ears that make the Rabbit Pearl so popular. It is made of a soft jelly material., and with this version you won't wind up with a drowned bunny.

One of the hottest new introductions are the Water Toys. The Blue Thin Probe is 8" long, the Pink Clittorific Dong is 7 1/2" long, the Purple Swing Dong is 8", and the White G-Spot is 7 1/2". These are made of a soft and supple jelly like material that has a really cool sheen to it, so they look great in and out of the water.

All of these toys are very fun, and if you plan to use them in the water you might consider using waterproof lube. Eros Bodyglide, Wet Platinum, and ID Millennium are all silicone based lubes that are unaffected by water. Personally, we would limit any penetration to the bath or a private pool where we know the water is relatively clean. For everywhere else, the Mighty Mite is a great choice, as it is designed primarily for clitoral stimulation.
