A few years ago, flavored lubes were on our “not recommended” list. Originally, flavored lubes not only tasted bad, but the sugar content in them could lead to yeast infections. Things have come a long way since then. With the introduction of sugar free products with much better flavors, we have switched them over to the “you should try it” list. We like Wet products, and they are one of the leading lube manufacturers in the world, with their products sold in almost every country. They offer five different flavored lubes: Passion Fruit Punch, Kiwi Strawberry, Piña Colada, Sweet Cherry, and Wild Blueberry. They actually taste pretty good. No bitter aftertaste or weird flavor undertones. They are clear, non-staining, and water based so they are condom compatible. Because they are sugar free, they are safe to use as a lube. Would you actually want to, though? For oral activity, especially when combined with hand jobs where you want a little extra slipperiness, the flavoring is nice to have. Not all the time; you're not always in the mood for something sweet. They do make things slippery, so the answer is yes, you can and will use it as a lube beyond just its ability to make body parts tasty. Personally, I'll grab for the Piña Colada, but Kris seems to have a definite taste for the Sweet Cherry. I've tasted them by themselves and they taste fine, but they do seem to be enhanced when combined with body parts. That may be a psychological response more than an actual taste response, but I suppose that is irrelevant. The cap flips up so that you can open and close it while holding it in one hand, and there is also a special grip on the side so that holding it is easy, even with slippery hands. The bottles can leak if stored on their sides after being opened, so if traveling with them you'll want to store them in a zip-lock back in a position that will hold them upright. They are available in 3.5 oz, 10.1 oz, and pillow packs. A good place to start is their sampler pack featuring several 6cc pillow containers. -JB |
