Dr. Susan Block's Squirt
Salons
Dr. Susan Block
Female ejaculation, or squirting, is nothing new. Even ancient texts refer to it. Much of the research until recent times on female sexuality has been remarkably poor, so it is not surprising that this has been ignored for so long. Real female ejaculation comes from the urethra. This has led many to simply assume that the woman is peeing. Those who have experienced it, though, know that it is very unlike urine. Probably the best research work on what female ejaculate really is was done by Dr. Gary Schubach. What he found was that the fluid women ejaculate does seem to originate in the bladder, but it appears to be mixed with fluid from the female version of the prostate known as the Skene's glands, and through a process we do not yet understand, is somehow de-urinized. According to Schubach, “We theorized that it may lose the appearance and smell of urine due to the secretion of the hormone aldosterone during sensual/sexual arousal, causing the re-absorption of sodium and the excretion of potassium by the kidneys.” The bottom line is that it is not urine. Learning to both give and receive these types of orgasms is an important part of your understanding of sex. There have been a number of porn films focusing on female ejaculation, but they have had little educational value and a very male-centric point of view. Some of them even fake it (sorry if I burst anyone’s balloon here, which by the way, is the secret used to fake it). What Dr. Block offers here is a joyful celebration of female sexuality and women’s ability to ejaculate. It is educational without making you feel like you are watching a sex ed film. It features one of the best explanations of the G-spot (critical to female ejaculation) and how to find and stimulate it that I have seen yet. Through clear explanation by expert Deborah Sundahl, and the wonderful and sexy women who graciously share their ability to squirt with the viewers, you will get a very clear understanding of what this is all about. Even the sexually jaded should learn something. The DVD begins with some historical perspective and introductory explanation by Dr. Block. She then introduces Deborah Sundahl, who really does know her stuff, and unlike so many sex experts, does not stand aloof from actual sexuality. She uses her hands to demonstrate how to give several of the women on the show squirting orgasms. It should be pointed out, though, that Annie Body and Leila Swan are already prodigious squirters, with a capacity that exceeds that of most women. It is quite amazing to watch. By the way, for those of you contemplating trying this at home (and you should), let me pass on a tip we developed for our swing parties. Go to a 99 cent store and buy one of the very thin shower curtains. Place it on the mattress before putting on the sheet. This is a very inexpensive way to keep your mattress from getting soaked. While educational, the DVD also offers a feast of sexually explicit activity, including between Leila Swan and boyfriend Big D. Interestingly, his is the only male ejaculation you will see. The focus is really on female orgasm. You even get to see Dr. Block squirt, although she admits that she is a comparative beginner. This 2 1/2 hour DVD will be screened at the upcoming Cinekink NYC Film Festival and the Barcelona Film Fest. You don't have to wait and travel, though, as you can buy it directly from Dr. Block now. The only downside to all of this is that
typically goal-oriented men will get it in their heads that they have not
done a woman right unless they can give her a squirting orgasm every time.
These orgasms are very intense, and most of the women I know who are squirters
don’t do it every time. It is wonderful when it happens, but it can still
feel wonderful even when it doesn’t happen. It is about pleasure, not performance,
and about the journey, not how wet the final destination is.
